Description:	More than twenty-five years ago, Amy and I inadvertently began a journey that continues today - that of rescuing small animals. We have adopted English Bulldogs, cats, rats, mice and rabbits. We have rescued or cared for wild critters from opossums to hummingbirds. Through the years, more than 100 critters (mostly Norwegian ratties) have lived out their days with us. The majority came to us through the efforts of animal rescue groups. Nearly all were sick or otherwise unadoptable. In nearly each case, Amy’s efforts (with a little help from me) saved a wee life that was otherwise forfeit.
